Zach Corliss enters just finished his first season as the Head Coach for Hillcrest Boy's Basketball.

Previously, Corliss spent four seasons as an Assistant Coach to Everick Sullivan (Hillcrest High School '88) at Lenoir-Rhyne University. At Lenoir-Rhyne, Corliss coached seven All-Conference selections, including the Defensive Player of the Year and helped the Bears to a pair of wins over Queens University in 2018-19 season while they were ranked top-10 in the nation. Corliss also helped LR to a win over Lincoln Memorial for the first time since 2010. Also in 2018-19, Lenoir-Rhyne won 21 games and advanced to the South Atlantic Conference Tournament Championship for the first time since 2005.

Prior to his stint at Lenoir-Rhyne, Corliss spent four seasons as an Assistant Coach at Armstrong State University in Savannah, Ga. In his last season with the Pirates, Corliss coached Corey Tillery to All-Peach Belt Conference and league Freshman-of-the-year accolades. Corliss also coached a pair of players in Nick Scott and Herbert Graham who finished the season ranked in the top 15 in the country for 3-point field goal percentage.

Corliss received his master's degree in adult education from Armstrong State in 2015, and his bachelor's in health and physical from Armstrong in 2013. Corliss played four seasons for the Pirates (2008-2012) and was part of the 2008-09 squad which finished with a 23-7 record, and NABC Top 25 ranking and a birth in the NCAA Division II Tournament.

A native of Hendersonville, NC, Corliss played for West Henderson High School. Corliss and his wife Ashley live in Simpsonville and have two daughters, Camri and Collins.
